How long does out-of-school drivers ed take?

I was planning to take drivers ed (OUT OF SCHOOL, so like that program stuff) and I was wondering how long the in-class and hands-on part would be. By the way I reside in Illinois.|||I took Adams School of Driving in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I forgot the exact amount of time spent in the classroom, but I do remember I finished in much less time than people who took drivers ed in school.
