What are the benefits of taking Drivers ed in high school?

What are the benefits of taking drivers Ed in highschool? Lower insurance maybe?|||Usually just a discount on your insurance.





"Statistics" say that people who've taken driver's ed are more responsible are safer drivers, but honestly I think that's a load of bull. (I took it just to get the lower insurance, I already had my license.)





Plus It's usually a good period to goof of in if your school awards credits for it. =P|||yes, it does lower your insurance(depending on your company). You should get a paper from your instructor saying you completed the course etc. but my insurance company just asked if I had taken it.





It also helps to be more confidant when you take your test, when I took it I didn't even have to take the test for my learners permit, but I think the rules have changed since then.





You can also get an insurance discount (again in some companies) for making good grades and community service hours (good citizen discount)|||It teaches the person to drive more safely. It may help lower your insurance depending on the company. It will give the person practice driving in a safer environment that in a regular car as Driver's Ed cars are generally equipped with a brake pedal for the instructor. |||you will for sure get lower insurance with most insurances company's. It will also allow you to get training with professional drivers and you wont be scared while driving. it will also give you time from school every one want time away from school!|||It's free, or at least subsidized.
