Where are drivers ed courses available in Rhode Island this summer?

I'm looking for available courses of drivers ed for this summer (2009) in rhode island, and im having no luck what so ever. Does any one know if there is any place thats offering them, and if so, where?|||i'm probably taking it at the Newport CCRI campus August 17th to the 25th. if you google drivers ed rhode island, it'll give you a site with a list of all the classes. there's one in portsmouth in july, i know, and there were a few in lincoln, providence, and warwick that i remember.|||Try DriversEd.com

|||Have you thought about taking it online?





Its much better because its cheaper and you can do it on your own schedule. I have friends who took it in school and it dragged on for 6 weeks -_-.





It costs about $25 to take it online at Driversedtogo.com(I took it here), But for you in rhode island it will cost about $100. Heres a cupon code if you want, its not much but hey its $3 lol

For the behind the wheel, you need to take 6 hours at least to get your license. The total cost will be about $300 depending on where you live. If you live in a crowded city, i suggest you go to a less crowded place so it will be easier





Heres the steps you have to take:


1) Sign up and complete Drivers ed. If you take it online it consists of 16 chapters with a final exam at the end. They will send you a certificate of completion.


2)You sign up for behind the wheel drivers training and get an Enrollment certificate.


3)You go to the DMV with Both certificates and take the driver permit written exam.


4)after you pass you have to wait 6 months to get your license or until your 18(Whichever comes first). You also need to have completed 6 hrs of behind the wheel training and 50 hours driving experience with a adult over 25.


5)Pass driving test


6) Get your license :D
