How am I suppose to take drivers ed and practice driving if my permit expired?

In Connecticut, a permit is for 16 and 17 years old, and I believe 18 can't get a permit. Why? Can I still take drivers ed without it now that I'm 18 and practice driving without a permit?|||Over 18 can probly get a permit too. Check with your DMV.|||You are misreading the laws. Everyone that drives on public highways must have a license or permit. You will find that you cannot take the Driving test without a Permit also.|||i don't think you can't . cause if you couldn't get it after age 17 half of Connecticut would be without license . you should check in the DVM office
