How many hours of a actual drivers ed class do you have to take?

I took drivers ed first quarter of my 9th grade and failed by two points so my mom signed me up to take classes some where else so i would hopefully get my license on my birthday.. So how many hours of a actual class do you have to take and how long does it usually take.. day wise.|||Depends on the state in which you reside.
