How old do you have to be in order to start drivers ed in California?

I want to start drivers ed, but how old do you have to be? I'm 14 1/2 right now. Is there different age limits for online drivers ed and actual classes?|||You have to be at least 15. As soon as you finish your driver's ed, you can go to the DMV and take your written test. If you get 8 errors or less, you pass and will get you permit on the spot. :)|||15
