Do i need to take drivers ed for my motorcycle license in ohio?

please, answer the question i asked. don't give me other information..i have been doing research that gives me different answers so i would like to know from someone with experience. and no, i do not need a drivers license before a motorcycle license, but i do need it for a motorcycle endorsement. so i would like to know if i need to take drivers ed for a motorcycle ONLY license.|||Since you are under 18, you do need to take drivers' ed in addition to the MSF Safety Course. Also, you have to pass the riding exam administered by the Highway Patrol.

You'd be better off to either get your driver's license before your motorcycle endorsement or wait until you're 18 to get your motorcycle only license.

If you wait until you're 18, you would just need to pass the written test and the MSF Safety Course to receive your motorcycle only license.|||In most states, you take a written test (normal DL test) and a motorcycle road test. That is all.

Some states, require you to attend a formal Motorcycle Safety course ( http://www.msf.org ) - and the license is given if you complete the Safety course.

Seems you didn't "search" as much as you say you did cause I found several links on Google with a simple "ohio dmv motorcycle" as search terms. Including getting answers straight from Ohio's DMV website:

http://bmv.ohio.gov/driver_license/mc_li鈥?/a>

ONLY if you're under 17 do you require to complete a Driver's education program.
