How could a 13 year old practice driving before signing up for drivers ed?

Where I live you have to be 14 and 1/2 (yeah pretty random) and im about 13 and 1/2, so I start drivers ed in about a year. I dont want to sign up, and have no idea what i'm doing the first time I step into the drivers seat. What would be a good (and legal) way for me to practice?|||Have your parents take you to an empty parking lot and practice. Its not legal to drive without a permit or license but unless you doing something suspicious no one will bother you|||you can use a go cart, ask your parents to take you to an empty parking lot one morning (try first thing Sunday morning or something) then you can drive all over the parking lot without worrying about hitting something or some one else's car. oh and btw, the first thing you might want to do is buckle up lol.|||why wouldn't you want to sign up?

technically you need to get your permit and drive with your parents/ someone 21 or over. (at least in Texas)

Depending on where you live like find a really empty business district have ur parents drive there and just practice driving around the neighborhoods.

You should always practice where there are basically no cars.|||well idk about where u live, but in california, u can drive in certain places before u have ur permit. like parking lots %26amp; track home sites that dont have homes yet. random places.|||git out on yer daddys farm and git that old pic em up out of the barn and start practicing on the south 40/do not go on public roads/|||gocarts|||Uhhh get in a car and drive..|||Do you have private land?
